Get involved

An Hour A Month Makes A Difference

Some members volunteer at community events, others help behind the scenes, and
some simply attend meetings to stay informed. Every contribution matters.

Build A Stronger Community

We believe civic engagement is a year-round commitment. We organize projects and encourage participation to make Mansfield and Warren County stronger.

We do community cleanups, food and clothing drives and service projects. We also support educational projects and partnerships with local organizations. We encourage members to attend town council and bd of education meetings, support local events and keep up with issues affecting the community.

Support Democratic Values

There are many ways to elect leaders who share ourvalues during election season. Whether you are new tro volunteering or have years of experience, we will find a role that is comfortable for you. We support voter registration, postcard writing, canvassing, phone banking, text banking, literature distribution, staffing community events, driving voters to the polls, poll greeting and get out the vote efforts. Letters to the Editor and social media messaging reach a wide audience and matter enormously.

Our Town Council and Board of Education make decisions that affect our everyday lives, so we encourage members to attend meetings and hold our our elected officials accountable. There are open seats on the  Land Use Board and we welcome anyone who wishes to run for Board of Education.

Share Your Skills

Successful organizations depend on people with many different talents — not just political experience. Whether you’re a graphic designer, photographer, writer, accountant, attorney, teacher, organizer, web developer, or simply someone who enjoys helping others, your skills can make a real difference.

Join A Committee

As our organization grows, members will have opportunities to serve on committees focused on communications, membership, fundraising, community service, candidate recruitment, political action, and events. Committees give members the chance to shape the direction of the organization while working alongside others who share their interests.

Become A Community Leader

Leadership isn’t limited to elected officers. We’re looking for members interested in coordinating projects, leading committees, organizing events, representing neighborhoods, and eventually serving as District Leaders or officers. If you’ve ever wanted to play a larger role in your community, we’d love to help you get started.

However You Choose To Participate

Whether you attend every meeting, volunteer at community events, write postcards from your kitchen table, help maintain our website, or simply lend a hand when you can, you are making a difference.
The Mansfield Democrats are building something bigger than an election campaign. We’re building a community of neighbors who care about Mansfield, believe in good government, and want to make our town an even better place to live. We hope you’ll join us.
